Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above, Don't fence me in. Let me ride through the wide open country that I love, Don't fence me in. Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees, Send me off forever but I ask you please, Don't fence me in.
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle Underneath the western skies. On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder Till I see the mountains rise.
I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences Don't fence me in.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. Aaron Siskind

Hi my friends,
one of the best things of spring are also the Strawberries in the market - I love them over everything! O.k. maybe not everything - hubby is sweeter as they are....*smile*...
I'm going into the cooking business now and I'm posting now a delicious recipe for you - you should give it a try and you'll not regret, I promise :)
Thanks for all the kind comments yesterday.
See you again, tomorrow or the next day. I have some projects going on, but I hope I can make time to post something.
See you!

Fairs and markets have a long and history that started when man felt the need to exchange goods. People would shop for goods at a weekly market in nearby towns. Then shops began to be permanently established. Shops were specialized , e.g. a bakery, a butchery, a grocer. Then supermarkets appeared.
There have been three major phases in the shopping / trading world in the last 100 years. In a way, these link up into a full circle.
1. Customers would be served by the shopkeeper, who would retrieve all the good on their shopping list. Shops would often deliver the goods to the customers' homes.
2. Customers have to select goods, retrieve them off the shelves using self service, and even pack their own goods. Customers deliver their own goods.
3. Customers select goods via the internet. The goods are delivered to their homes as in phase one.
It was 1878 in Dayton, Ohio saloon owner James Ritty was not a happy man. He suspected that members of his staff were stealing from his business by taking customer cash and pocketing it. Unfortunately, Ritty had no way of proving that pilfering was the problem. The next year he did. With the help of his brother, Ritty invented and patented the first mechanical cash register, named “ Ritty’s Incorruptible Cashier ”.
The last ten years have been a wild time on the Internet, especially when it comes to online shopping. The e-commerce industry has seen rapid growth, a shake out of the market due to security concerns, and finally, a rebirth thanks to new technologies and innovative ways to shop.

Hello my friends,
Yesterday I was to busy to post anything. I still want to say thank you for all your visits and kind comments to my Tsunami sign photo from Monday. Thanks for coming back and to be my loyal friend. See you tomorrow again :)
An optimist is a person who sees a green light everywhere, while a pessimist sees only the red stoplight... the truly wise person is colorblind. ~Albert Schweitzer~
Hi my friends,
thanks again and again for all the wonderful comments and compliments to my "Abstract Reality" picture from yesterday. This one today is in red and is a follow up on the blue from yesterday. Different but strong too. Don't think that I'm on a "Color therapy" trip now........LOL... :)) I feel fine, don't worry....*smile*...
It's weekend again and it's warming up slowly in Florida. It's very nice and in the 70's today. Just to let you people know, up there in the North: pack your bags and run away from that cold and snow. Come down here... Florida needs some more tourists here! :))
Color is for me the purest form of expression, the purest abstract reality. ~Jim Hodges~
Hi my friends, Thank you ALL for the nice comments from yesterday. Yesterday it was the color "green" and today I'm here "in blue". How do you like that...?
And now it's "cleaning the house time" on my agenda today I don't love it, I hate it....*smile*....
Who wants to come and help me with...LOL... See you tomorrow! Susanne
The most famous member – though often not recognized as a camellia – is certainly the tea plant (C. sinensis). Among the ornamental species, the Japanese Camellia (C. japonica) (which despite its name is also found in Korea and Eastern China) is perhaps the most widely-known, though most camellias grown for their flowers are cultivars or hybrids.
Hi my friends,
thank you so much for all your visits and comments and kind words yesterday.
It's time for us to get out a little bit again for "snapping" some fresh air. It's very nice today out there, the sun is shining but the temps are in the 60's - don't forget to take the jacket with you :)

There are two ways to go when you hit that crossroads in your life: There is the bad way, when you sort of give up, and then there is the really hard way, when you fight back. I went the hard way and came out of it okay. Now, I'm sitting here and doing great. Matthew Perry
Hi my friends,
Where is that: "Wolf Alley" meets "No. 1 Rodeo Rd"...?
That's the moment when you'll be far out somewhere in deep country side. Actually you'll be in Wyoming, actually you'll be in Aladdin, Wyoming! A little sleepy village where only 15 people are living - yes, 15 only! Hard to believe, right? :)
I think for myself, it would be a quiet way to remote place in country side. What about you?
Thank you also for all the kind comments and I wish you a nice weekend with not to much snowfall!

Hi my friends, Thank you for all the kind comments yesterday. Here is a new quote for you to think about. Simple words with a deep philosophical meaning behind - I LOVE that!
The photo of "The Grand Tetons" was made on my recent travel "Across America". I'm still reviewing my many hundreds of photos from my 8 month long travel and I love to remember all the pretty places I have seen during that time. And these majestic mountains are one of those places!
Today at 2.28 p.m. was the launch of the Space Shuttle at Cape Canaveral. David and I went down to the beach to see it from there. Tomorrow, I'll show you some of the pictures I took. Stay with me, come back again tomorrow - here, on the same spot, at the same time...LOL...
Thank you also for all the comments to my photo without words from yesterday, I very much appreciate your words. Susanne
